Product Description
Veraton is the “entry level” wine from Alto Moncayo. It is 100% Garnacha (Grenache) from 30 to 50 year old vines in the Campo de Borja. Every vintage since 2004 has been rated 90+ by the Wine Advocate and the International Wine Cellar. A rich, full bodied wine with lots of fruit and power.
Expressive aromas of cherry compote, blueberry, lavender and peppery spices. Plush, pliant, round and seamless on the palate, offering smoky blueberry, mineral and dark chocolate flavors complicated by suggestions of candied flowers and licorice. Finishes long and sweet, with soft tannins and repeating spiciness.
Purplish red in colour, this red boasts a intense nose exuding woody, empyreumatic and fruity aromas. Discover this full-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a broad texture and firm tannins. It also unveils a intense mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
Garnacha Tinta 
Dark cherry red, almost black, with some violet hues.

A very expressive nose. The fruit is the protagonist, both red and black, with vanilla, cocoa, pastries, toast, cloves and walnuts.

The palate is especially fruity, fleshy, thin, smart and friendly. Along with wonderful toasted memories.
This wine was aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.
