Briego is a ine representative of Ribera del Duero wine which,
being young and excellently made, ills the glass with raspberries,
cherries and strawberries as well as delivering hints of
cinnamon, vanilla and spices. Produced in the vineyard The
Bercial at 750m altitude. Sandstone with siliceous stone, medium
body soil. It produces soft, ine and elegant wines.
Just one sip of Briego is enough to feel an explosion of fruit
in the mouth and to appreciate the elegance of the Tempranillo
grape, so characteristic of the Ribera del Duero.
Bodegas Briego have taken it upon themselves to stand up
for the genuine nature of their regional wines whilst always
ready to adopt modern ideas. The wine spends 5 to 7 months
in American and French oak barrels.
