This exceptional wine is a selection within the selection and it is only produced in the best years. Mariano García and Javier Zaccagnini want just the cream of the crop for this wine, and they use solely the finest vines from the very best plots which can be different from vintage to vintage. A wine with great longevity in bottle. One of the best wines in Spain. Very elegant, with one of the fruitiest expressions and a very well integrated complexity. A wine to be enjoyed slowly. Hardly forgettable, a pleasure of wine to enjoy and remember. This wine is only produced in excellent vintages only and its production is limited due to the thoroughness with which the grapes are selected, from the finest vines, aged almost a century. After a careful winemaking process, the wine rests for up to 30 months in new French oak barrels. Once in the bottle, it stays in the winery for a several months of rest before it is released. Aalto PS was awarded in both Beijing and Shanghai as best Spanish wine at Grandes Pagos de Espana (Gran Cru From Spain) wine event with First Asian Master of Wine Jeannie Cho-Lee.
