The grapes come from old vines 50 years old. These were planted and grown on clay-calcareous soil. After harvesting, Abel Mendoza Malvasía is fermented in new French oak barrels of 225 litres capacity.
After this phase, Abel Mendoza Malvasía ages on its lees for four or five months in new French oak barrels.

Clean, bright, dense, medium eye of yellowish green
color and golden tones.
13.5% vol.
Intense aromas, fresh and complex. From the primaries
aromas it shows white fruits, apple, peach, quince jelly,
citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, floral, roses and violets,
and a nice herbal background. Plus the vanilla and
toasted flavors added by the aging in oak in a great
balance.
D.O.C. Rioja
In the mouth it has a structured and dense entrance, dry
but smooth, wrap all the mouth with a fresh balance,
and a final impression, with a bitterness from the
tannins that make it longer and persistent.
This wine was aged for 5 months in French oak barrels.

fish, cod fish, soft cheese.
