Castro de Valtuille Godello (By Raúl Pérez)

Castro de Valtuille Godello come from the 60 hectares of vineyards owned by the winery. The vineyards are split into 300 different plots, all home to differing soils and orientations. The Godello grape works as well in Bierzo as it does in Galicia.

Castro de Valtuille Godello is vinified and produced following traditional techniques, drawing on the years of experience that the winery has gained over the years. We must remember that the cultivation of grapes in Valtuille dates all the way back to 1752. The teachings of the time are certainly a great ally of the oldest wineries.

Castro de Valtuille Godello is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Only some 430 bottles were produced, what the plot provides.
